Whiteabbey proudly present Trilog; three songs based on the fairy tale of Snow White. We follow her trials at the hands of her wicked step-mother, the Queen:

Part 1: Snow - The Queen forces a hunter to take Snow White into the woods and cut out her heart. But will he do it? Well, no, he won’t, but you already knew that. Instead, he tries to fool the Queen by giving her an animal’s heart.

Part 2: Mirror - Thinking she is finally rid of Snow White, the Queen consults her magic mirror and is aghast to find she has been tricked. You just can’t get the staff. The question is, was the mirror actually magic? Or does it always just tell the Queen what she already knows, because she’s talking to her own reflection. It’s a mirror, after all. Traditionally, it’s thought the mirror represents the King and his thoughts on who the fairest one is. But we like our explanation better.

Part 3: Queen - If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. The Queen takes matters into her own hands and poisons Snow White with an apple. A poisoned apple, that is. Snow White wasn’t allergic to apples or anything, as far as we know.

We hope you enjoy the voyage into the deep, dark world of this particular fairy tale. It’s quite the experience…
